❖ The Brama Naady Readers

I am G.K. Ravi. I learnt Naady Astrology completely from my father — he was my first Guru. We had clients all over the world; among them were many from Kerala, who were attracted by our distinctive way of reading Naady and had deep belief in the holy sages’ predictions. The astrology skills inherited from my father laid a strong foundation for me and my brothers in this field. Considering this, and at their request, I opened an office at Trivandrum in Kerala named “Sri Agasthiya Perunool Naady Astrological Centre”, started on 2nd March 1995 — and it continues successfully to this day. The credit goes to the co-operation and co-ordination of my brothers. After the passing of my father, my brothers Sri S.P. Gurumoorthy (Pazhani, T.N.), Sri K. Mohan (Trichy, T.N.), Sri K. VijayaRaghavan (Nellore, A.P.), Sri P.V. Somasundaram, Sri K. Murugarajan, Sri K. Kubhendran and Sri Kumaragovindhan preserved the palm leaves left by our ancestors.

In the year 2000, Sri K. Panjalingham, a Tamilian with citizenship in London, invited me to London, promising to help me in every aspect of reading Naady there. His intention was to spread the true divinity of astrology and the benefits of Naady Astrology to people all over the world. He had researched Naady Astrology to trace hereditary Naady readers who follow the discipline in the traditional way, and my name was on his list. So I decided to go. With the help of my two maternal uncles, I travelled to London and read Naady Astrology for several people there, who were fully satisfied and benefited. The journey was remarkable, as I became the first and only person to receive a “work permit” to read Naady Astrology worldwide — a great honour.

On 13th February 2003, “Muhurtham”, a famous Malayalam monthly magazine, published an interview with me by Ms. Beena Ranjani, along with my office address and photographs. The article covered Naady Astrology in detail, including its special features and the full story of Naady’s origins.

On 19th October 2014, I opened an office at Delhi at the requisition of Delhi’s clients — highly valued clients holding senior positions. In that office we follow “Brahma Naady” — predictions derived and written by the holy enlightened sage Vashistar on the palm leaves.

The customer, upon providing the thumb impression, is escorted to the library where the palm-leaf bundles are kept and shown how the concerned leaf is identified. It is then read and elaborated to the customer.

The features of Brahma Naady: when you read the “General Kaandam” (Chapter I), you receive the details of your previous birth, the good and evil deeds done by you, why you received the present birth, and how your present and future life will unfold. You also receive general predictions from the day you read Brahma Naady up to the last day of your life. These predictions are written in a notebook and recorded on a CD. Normally, the two sides of a leaf carry predictions relating to two persons; but sometimes a leaf contains the predictions of one person only — in such cases, the leaf is given to the person concerned. We have read nearly half the content of our palm leaves for the benefit of clients, and we expect the other half to be completed by the year 2026.

There are many misconceptions about this branch of astrology; these arise mainly from persons not trained enough, or without sufficient experience, attempting to practice it.

There are complaints that the Naadi bundle does not contain one’s expectations. It is made clear here that one’s expectations do not find a place in the holy Naadi bundles — what will happen in the future is what is elaborated therein.
